About us

We deliver the equipment ourselves

RentEvent ehf. is a young company, founded in 2026. The owners take the bookings themselves, drive the equipment to your home, connect it and collect it again after the party.

The idea

The party should be about your guests

Renting what your party needs should be easy, and it should be delivered by people who turn up on time and know what they are doing.

That is why we do it ourselves. The same people answer your enquiry, contact you after booking, drive the equipment out and set it up. If anything comes up, you know who you are talking to.

We rent party tents, tables and benches, beer taps, glasses and cocktail kits, and provide experienced bartenders. Delivery and collection are free* across the whole capital area. *On orders over ISK 10,000

We share the deliveries, set-ups and collections between us, so it is usually one of us knocking on your door.

The bartenders

People who know their way around a bar

We only hire bartenders who have worked a bar shift before. They mix, pour and keep the bar tidy all evening.

  • Go through the drinks menu with you before the event and help you work out the quantities.
  • Mix cocktails, pour and keep the bar clean all evening.
  • Serve responsibly: they may refuse to serve anyone who is intoxicated or under 20.

What we promise

Four promises we can always keep

  • We arrive on timeWe confirm the delivery time with you before the event and stick to it. Anything we connect or put up is ready to use when we leave.
  • Reply within 24 hoursAfter every booking we contact you personally within 24 hours and confirm the delivery time. Not just an automatic email followed by silence. If something turns out not to be available, you get a full refund.
  • Clean glasses, no washing-upThe glasses arrive clean and you return them unwashed. The washing-up is included in the price.
  • Honest pricesThe prices on the website are the prices you pay. Connecting the beer tap costs nothing extra, and delivery and collection are free* in the capital area. Anything that can be added is listed on the slip.
