About the service
All our bartenders have at least two years' experience behind a bar, and most have worked as head bartenders. They mix cocktails, pour and keep the bar tidy all evening.
We go through the drinks menu with you before the event. You provide the drinks and we can help you work out the quantities.
What is included
The bartender takes care of
- Mixing, pouring and serving your guests for the whole booked time
- Bringing the bar tools: shaker, jigger, strainer and bar spoon
- Keeping the bar tidy and clearing it down at the end of the shift
- Going through the drinks menu and quantities with you beforehand
The hours are the time spent at the bar. Want the bartender to arrive early and set up the bar? That can be arranged and is charged as time.
You provide
- The drinks
- Ice
- Access to water
- A table or space for the bar
The bartender brings the bar tools. Need glasses? You can rent them from us and they come with the delivery.

- The bartender arrives at the agreed timeThe hours you book are the time they spend at the bar looking after your guests.
- Set-up by arrangementWant them to arrive early to set up the bar? Get in touch and we will sort it out; that time is charged like any other hour.

Bartenders may refuse to serve anyone who is intoxicated or under 20.
Frequently asked questions
What do I need to provide?
Drinks, ice and access to water, plus a table or space for the bar. The bartender brings the bar tools, and glasses can be rented from us.
Can you help with the drinks menu and quantities?
Yes. We go through the menu with you before the event and help you work out how much you need.
What if the party runs late?
The booking can be extended. Extra time is charged per started half hour.
How many bartenders do I need?
A good rule of thumb is one bartender per 35 guests. If there is a big rush at the start of the party, it can pay to have more.
What if the bartender cannot make it?
We send a replacement. If that is not possible, you get a full refund.
