What do you need for a garden party?
Start with the number of guests and ask yourself three questions. Where will the guests go if it rains? Where will they sit? And how will you keep them warm as the evening goes on?
- Shelter: a 4×5 m party tent (ISK 34,990) for about 15 seated or 30 standing, or a 5×8 m party tent (ISK 49,990) for about 30 seated or 45–60 standing.
- Seating: tables and benches, ISK 9,990 per set for 6–8 guests.
- Heat: a patio heater, ISK 4,990 per day. An electric heater that can be used inside the tent.
- The bar: a beer tap (ISK 14,990), glasses from ISK 190 and a bartender from ISK 8,990 per hour.
Example: a garden party for about 25 guests
This is what the equipment for a birthday in the garden could look like when most guests should be able to sit down. It is only a suggestion and you can adjust it to suit you.

Prices are per day. Delivery, collection and washing the glasses are included, and we connect the beer tap on site at no cost. You provide the keg. If you want us to put up and take down the tent, add ISK 29,990. If the party is on the deck and most guests are standing, you can skip the tent and just have heaters, glasses and a few table sets.
Prepare the garden
Measure the garden before you book. The 5×8 m tent needs flat ground of at least 6×9 m and the 4×5 m tent at least 5×6 m. Both need 3 m of clear height, free of branches and gutters. If the tent cannot be put up because of the space or the ground, the rental is not refunded. Not sure? Send us a photo of the area and we assess it with you.
The heaters and the beer tap run on electricity. Each heater draws 2000 W, so spread them over more than one circuit in the fuse box and have outdoor extension cables ready.
The tent gives good shelter from rain, but it is not put up if the average wind goes above 10 m/s or gusts above 15 m/s. Check the forecast a few days before the party.
A bartender for the birthday
If you want to serve cocktails but not stand behind the bar all evening yourself, a bartender is a good solution. A bartender costs ISK 8,990 per hour, minimum 2 hours, and a good guideline is one per 35 guests. You provide the drinks, ice and access to water, and we go through the menu with you before the party. Would you rather mix the drinks yourself? The cocktail kit costs ISK 2,990 per day.

Frequently asked questions
How long can I keep the equipment?
Rental prices are per day and cover one 24-hour period or one event. If you want to keep the equipment longer, extra days are charged.
Do I need to wash the glasses?
No. Return them unwashed and we take care of the washing-up.
Who connects the beer tap?
We connect it on site at no cost to you. Tell us which keg you plan to use when you book, so we can confirm that the coupling fits.
What if it rains?
The tent has a waterproof cover and gives good shelter from rain. Wind is the limit: the tent is not put up above 10 m/s average wind or 15 m/s in gusts.
