A confirmation (ferming) party at home, in the garden or in a hall: we bring the glasses, the tables, the tent and the bartender, and collect everything again after the party. Book early
Confirmation season runs from March to May and most parties are at weekends. The same days are in demand and quantities are limited – for example, we have only one 5×8 m tent. Book as soon as the confirmation date is set. You pay when you book and get a personal confirmation from us within 24 hours.
Equipment for the confirmation party
- Glasses: wine glasses ISK 349, cocktail glasses ISK 249, highball and beer glasses ISK 190. You return them unwashed.
- Tables and benches: ISK 9,990 per set, seats 6–8.
- Party tent 5×8 m (ISK 49,990) or 4×5 m (ISK 34,990) if the house cannot fit all the guests.
- Patio heater: ISK 4,990 per day. An electric heater that can be used inside the tent.
- Bartender: ISK 8,990 per hour, minimum 2 hours. The bartender looks after the drinks and mixes alcohol-free drinks for the children from what you provide.
All rental prices are per day and cover one 24-hour period or one event.
Example: about 40 guests at home with a tent in the garden
The house cannot fit all the guests, and a tent in the garden adds room for the buffet and the tables.

About 30 guests sit comfortably at 4–5 table sets in the tent and the rest find a seat indoors. If you want us to put up and take down the tent, add ISK 29,990. A bartender for 3 hours costs ISK 26,970.
Example: about 80 guests in a hall or a large house
Larger confirmation parties are usually held indoors, as 80 seated guests do not fit in our tents.

Ten table sets are all the sets we have, and they seat about 70. The guideline is one bartender per 35 guests, but confirmation parties often have many children, so two may be enough. If the hall has its own tables, you only need the glasses and the bartender.

The weather in March and April
Early spring can be cold and windy. If the party is in a tent, plan on a patio heater and keep an eye on the forecast. The tents are not put up if the average wind goes above 10 m/s or gusts above 15 m/s. Measure the area too: the 5×8 m tent needs flat ground of at least 6×9 m and the 4×5 m tent at least 5×6 m, both with 3 m of clear height. If the tent cannot be put up because of conditions on site, the rental is not refunded.
Frequently asked questions
When should I book for a confirmation?
As soon as you have the date. Weekends in confirmation season fill up, especially for the tents.
Who provides the drinks?
You provide the drinks, ice and water. The bartender mixes from that and can make alcohol-free cocktails for the children. You can get syrups for them from us.
Do I need to wash the glasses?
No. Return them unwashed and we take care of the washing-up.
When does the equipment arrive?
We deliver and collect between 08:30 and 17:00, every day. We confirm the exact time when we contact you within 24 hours of booking.
