About the product
The 30 cl cocktail glass is a roomy coupe on a tall, slender stem. The wide, straight-sided bowl holds 30 cl, so there is room for foam and garnish. It works well for an Espresso Martini, sours with foam and alcohol-free cocktails that should look the part.
It is taller and larger than the 27 cl cocktail glass and gives the bar a striking look at weddings, company parties and more formal events. Hire is ISK 299 per glass per day. The glasses arrive clean in crates and you return them unwashed, we do the washing-up.
You can mix both types in the same booking, for example the larger glass for the signature cocktail of the evening. For egg-free foamy cocktails, add cocktail foamer, and the cocktail kit or a bartender takes care of the rest. More about glass hire.

What is the difference between the 27 cl and 30 cl cocktail glass?
The 30 cl glass is taller, with a wider, straighter bowl, and holds more. The 27 cl glass is a classic coupe with a rounded bowl. The 30 cl costs ISK 299 and the 27 cl ISK 249 per glass per day.
Why choose the larger glass?
A typical cocktail is about 10–15 cl, so a 30 cl glass leaves plenty of room for foam and garnish and less risk of spills. The glass is also taller and looks great on the bar.
Can you supply a lot of cocktail glasses?
Yes. We have just over 200 cocktail glasses, about 100 of each type, and you can mix 27 cl and 30 cl glasses in the same booking.
Do I need to wash up?
No. Return the glasses unwashed and we take care of the washing-up.
What if a glass breaks?
It can always happen. Broken or missing glasses are charged at replacement value. We check the equipment within three working days of the return and let you know.
How many glasses do I need?
A good rule of thumb is about two glasses per guest. The guest calculator splits the number by what you will be serving.
Can I cancel?
Yes. With 7 days' notice or more you get a full refund. With 2–6 days' notice you get a 50% refund or a credit note for the full amount. Within 48 hours of the event there is no refund.
