A bar at a party is three things: someone to serve, a tap or tools to mix with, and glasses. At RentEvent you get all three in one order, delivered to you and collected again. Here are price examples for three party sizes so you can see quickly where you land.
What is in the bar?
- Bartender. ISK 8,990 per hour, 2-hour minimum. Every bartender has at least two years of bar experience and brings a shaker, jigger, strainer and bar spoon.
- Beer tap. ISK 14,990 per day. Chills the beer itself and we connect it on site at no extra cost. You supply the keg.
- Glasses. From ISK 190 per glass. You return them unwashed.

The examples use beer glasses at ISK 190. Cocktail glasses cost ISK 249–299 and wine glasses ISK 349. You supply the drinks, the keg, the ice and access to water. For cocktails you add syrups and purée, see syrups and purée.
When is a bartender enough on its own?
If cocktails are the main thing and beer is an afterthought, you can skip the tap. Rent cocktail glasses instead and add syrups and mixers to your cart. If you would rather enjoy the evening than stand behind the bar, the bartender matters most. See what a bartender costs.

Do I need both a bartender and a beer tap?
No. The bartender brings the bar tools and suits a party where cocktails are the main thing. The beer tap suits a party where most people want beer. Many people book both.
Does alcohol come with it?
No. RentEvent does not sell alcohol. You supply the drinks, the keg and the ice, and we help you work out the amounts.
How many bartenders do I need?
We recommend one bartender for every 35 guests. For 50 guests, two is the most comfortable.
What does delivery cost?
It is free in the capital area on orders over ISK 10,000.
